BUENA VISTA, Va.—The Capital Athletic Conference announced the 2016 Baseball Preseason Coaches' Poll on Tuesday, with Southern Virginia University picked to finish tenth in the conference.

Under the direction of head coach Logan Mann, the Knights hope to once again improve their 9-23 record from last season and have their eyes set on their first CAC playoff bid.

"We want to compete in everything we do. We feel that if we can compete and do the little things right we will be successful," Coach Mann said in an interview with the CAC (watch the full interview here).

The Knights are returning 14 players including multiple key positions in their starting lineup. Seniors Justin King, Zach McNally, Jordan Keefer, Josh Hilburn, and Crosby Jensen will all play a significant role in helping the Knights be successful this season.
