Logan Davis is going into his fifth year (2015-16) as the head women's cross country coach at Southern Virginia.

The 2014 cross country season was highlighted by freshman Rylee McKeon as she garnered Runner of the Week accolades after her strong finish at the Shenandoah Open.

In 2012, Davis led women's cross country in capturing its 11th USCAA national title over the past 15 years.

During his first season as head cross country coach in fall 2011, Davis guided the women's team to its first national championship since 2007.

After graduating from Southern Virginia in 2009 with a B.A. in liberal arts, Davis served as an assistant coach for both men’s and women’s cross country from 2009-10.

As a student at Southern Virginia, Davis was a two-time USCAA All-Academic recipient in both cross country and wrestling. Davis was also a three-time qualifier for the NCWA national tournament in the 133-lb. weight class.

He served a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Kenya Nairobi mission.

Davis resides in Lexington, Va., with his wife, Emilie, and four children.
