The Southern Virginia University women’s volleyball team had one of its best seasons in program history in 2017, finishing with an overall record of 22-8 (.733%) and finishing third in the CAC with a 7-2 conference record. The season marks impressive progress from 2016, besting last year’s win total by 14 games.
The Virginia Sports Information Directors (VaSID) recently announced the All-State women’s volleyball teams, naming Southern Virginia University volleyball senior Hannah Allred for the All-State First Team, adding to her list of accomplishments this season.
Southern Virginia University senior outside and right-side hitter Hannah Allred was tabbed as the Capital Athletic Conference's women's volleyball Player of the Year on Tuesday after leading the Knights to a third-place finish and best record in ten years.
