Upon graduation at Idaho State, Hiatt served a fulltime mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Santiago, Chile.

She resides in Buena Vista, Va., with her husband and Southern Virginia's football offensive coordinator, Tye Hiatt.
