BUENA VISTA, Va. — The Southern Virginia University women's volleyball team extended its current win streak to four games after Wednesday night's sweep of the Wildcats 3-0.
This is the second four game win streak of the season for the Knights (9-3, 1-0) in only 12 games.
"We always enjoy playing at home and can feed off the crowd throughout tough areas in each set," said Head Coach Debby Baker. In set two and three, the Knights' worst enemy was their own errors and mistakes. The team was still had just enough to avoid defeat in both sets winning the second set 25-23, and the third 29-27.
Senior Allison Tiegs led the Knights in kill percentage, hitting an impressive .348, and added nine kills and three digs.
