Elizabeth Wilson is the head track & field coach and Southern Virginia University.
Wilson joined Southern Virginia University in the summer of 2016 and worked as an assistant sports performance coach and assistant track and field coach- primarily working with throws and vertical jumps.
In her first season with the Knights, Wilson coached the only individual to place in the top eight at the Capital Athletic Conference Championship meet in both indoor and outdoor track and field seasons.
Wilson was also in charge of creating and implementing the strength and conditioning programs for men’s and women’s cross country & track and field teams, along with women’s lacrosse, and men’s and women’s tennis; both tennis teams ended 2017 with overall winning seasons.
Wilson graduated from Brigham Young University in April of 2014 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education.
While attending BYU, Wilson had a successful four-year track and field career competing as a heptathlete and jumper, and was team captain during her junior and senior seasons. Wilson was an eight-time All-Conference recipient, two-time Academic All-American, and holds All-Time Top-Ten performances in three different events at BYU.
From 2014-2016 the Minneapolia, Minnesota native served an LDS mission in San Diego, California.
