The Southern Virginia University women’s tennis team recorded one of the best seasons in program history, finishing with a 14-7 record, the second-most wins in program history, and the second Capital Athletic Conference playoff appearance.
After a 9-0 sweep over Penn St.-Harrisburg on Saturday, the Southern Virginia University women’s tennis team clinched a spot in the Capital Athletic Conference tournament for the first time in program history.
After over five hours on court, the Southern Virginia University women’s tennis team was narrowly defeated by Capital Athletic Conference foe York College of Pennsylvania, 5-4 in the final home match of the regular season. Before the match, Director of Operations Ashley Adamson was recognized for her contributions to the program over the last four years, as a player and staff member.
