Women’s Tennis Defeated at Home by Randolph College

BUENA VISTA, Va. –On a chilly Monday evening under the lights, the Southern Virginia University women's tennis team fell to visiting Randolph College, 6-0.

In doubles competition, sophomores Kirsten Laurence and Katelynn Tlustek fell at top doubles in a tight match, 8-6.

First-years Lauren Morrison and Micah Roberts fell at No. 2 doubles 8-3, while freshman Anna Evans and Kari Stollenwerk lost 8-2 at No. 3.

In singles play, Laurence, Roberts and Evans all fell to their opponents. 

The Knights fall to 3-9 on the season, while Randolph improves to 6-2.

The women's tennis team is back in action this Thursday, March 27th as it hosts visiting Bluefield College.
