Women's Tennis Falls at Meredith 7-2

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Southern Virginia University women's tennis team suffered its second loss of the season Friday afternoon with a 7-2 defeat at Meredith College.

Southern Virginia (10-2) dropped all three doubles matches to Meredith (4-8) and went on to win only two of six singles matches.

Jennifer Jensen was a 6-1, 6-2 winner at No. 5 singles while Brynn McGinn won the sixth-seeded singles match 6-3, 6-3.

Women's tennis has eight days off before traveling to Randolph College on Monday, April 4 for a match at 3:30 p.m.
