ST. MARY'S, Md. — A heartbreaking goal in the 90th minute handed the Southern Virginia women's soccer team a loss on Saturday afternoon, falling 1-0 to St. Mary's (Md.).

The Knights (3-10-1, 1-4 CAC) and Seahawks (3-10, 1-4 CAC) were locked in a defensive battle for nearly 90 full minutes until the Seahawks finally found the back of the net to take away the win.

Freshman Alyssa Trueman was in goal for the Knights, finishing with a pair of saves in the loss.

The Knights hit the road again on Wednesday as they will head to Fredericksburg, Va. to take on the University of Mary Washington. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m.
