FREDERICKSBURG, Va. — The Southern Virginia University women's soccer team won their second straight match in a 2-1 Capital Athletic Conference victory over the University of Mary Washington.

The Knights (5-7-1, 2-3 CAC) allowed a Mary Washington (5-8-1, 1-3-1 CAC) goal in the 11th minute of play, which stood as the only score of the game for over 60 minutes, until Southern Virginia's Alli Rigby found the back of the net off of a set piece corner kick, taken by Cyanne Smith

Less than six minutes later Rigby connected a pass in front of the goal to the foot of Clarissa Barton, who scored her second goal of the year and doubled the lead.
