ATHENS, W.Va.—The Southern Virginia University women's soccer team was shutout for the sixth time this season at Concord University on Wednesday as the Mountain Lions scored in the 19th and 71st minutes handing the Knights their 12th loss of the season.

Concord (9-8) outshot Southern Virginia (4-12) 13-8 for the match, but only held a 6-5 advantage for shots on goal, however, the Mountain Lions' keeper turned away all five of the Knights' on-goal attempts.

Wednesday's loss ends the season for women's soccer as Southern Virginia University's winningest varsity team misses the USCAA national tournament for the first time since 2007 and only the second time in the program's 14-year history.
