Women's Lacrosse Downed by No. 7 York

YORK, Pa.— The Southern Virginia University women's lacrosse team fell 18-1 to No. 7 York College of Pennsylvania in their final road game of the 2017 season.

The Spartans (11-2, 6-0 CAC) started the game on a 13-0 run before Zoe Bradshaw scored the Knights (3-12, 0-7 CAC) lone goal with just over two minutes to go in the first half. The Knights defense held York to only five goals in the second half.

York outshot Southern Virginia 23-5. Freshman Keilani Torres-Lopez recorded three saves in goal for the Knights.

Southern Virginia hosts non-conference opponent Greensboro College on Monday, April 10 at 4 p.m. EST.
