Women’s Golf Finishes Round One at General’s Invitational 
LEXINGTON, Va. — After day one of the Washington & Lee General's Invitational, the Southern Virginia University Women's golf team its in 12th place of the multi-team tournament, led by Bailey Rusick who sits tied for 41st with a score of 91.
 
"It's fun to be out here on one of our local courses, and the team came out ready to play," commented assistant golf coach Lea Garner. "We learned a lot today and have some adjustments to make for day two."
 
Methodist University and host Washington & Lee sit atop the leaderboard. Rusick is followed by Bailey Pfunder and Brinley Pulsipher who sit at +24 and +25. Caroline Pitcher is the fourth scorer for the Knights with a round one score of 133.
