BUENA VISTA, Va. - The Southern Virginia University women's basketball team led from start to finish, as the program celebrated its graduating seniors, and beat Bennett College, 75-51. Senior Jasmin Johnson was making the most of being honored as she hit for 10-points and 4-rebounds, and some crucial steals to keep momentum going for the hosts. Bennett fought back in the dying moments of the first half to trail by 14-points, at 37-23.

Scoring went the way of the Knights in the second half as well, with the hosts hitting on 48% of their shots, but doing their damage at the free-throw line. SVU made fifteen of their twenty-three trips to the line in the second half, and converting on 12-free throws.

The Knights had their largest lead of the game at 28-points in the dying moments of the game, and had coasted throughout the half to send the seniors off on high note. Fellow senior, Jenna Aldridge, also played well for the hosts. Abi Logan was the third player to score in double-digits for the Knights, adding 13-points to the cause.

Aldridge, Johnson and Rachelle Loveless were honored prior to the game's start, and SVU recorded its eleventh win of the season for the seniors.
