Softball Drops Game One Walk-off On Route to Series Sweep
Despite senior shortstop Dinah Rogers' two-run home run to even the score in the top of the seventh, the Southern Virginia University softball team dropped the opener to Davis and Elkins College on Monday 4-3 on a Kayla Whoolery walk-off RBI-single in the bottom of the inning followed up with a 9-1 loss to the Senators in game two.

Despite four base hits and three RBI from senior first baseman Malia Falevai (Mesa, Ariz.) the Southern Virginia University softball team was swept 5-2 and 11-6 in Friday's doubleheader at Bridgewater College.
