Logan Davis is the head men's and women's cross country coach, as well as head wrestling coach at Southern Virginia University.
In 2012, Davis led women's cross country in capturing its 11th USCAA national title over the past 15 years and pushed men's cross country to a tenth-place finish at nationals.
During his first season as head cross country coach in fall 2011, Davis led the men's team to a sixth-place finish at nationals, while guiding the women's team to its first national championship since 2007.
After graduating from Southern Virginia in 2009 with a B.A. in liberal arts, Davis served as an assistant coach for both men’s and women’s cross country from 2009-10. During that time, Davis also assisted with the wrestling team.
As a student at Southern Virginia, Davis was a two-time USCAA academic all-american in both cross country and wrestling. Davis was also a three-time qualifier for the NCWA national tournament in the 133-lb. weight class.
He served a fulltime mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the Kenya Nairobi Mission.
Davis resides in Buena Vista with his wife Emilie and three children.
