Freshman Colter May Named CAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week

FREDRICKSBURG, Va. – Freshman Colter May was selected as the Capital Athletic Conference Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 25 after winning the Commonwealth Challenge.

The Bozeman, Montana native most recently won his division and placed sixth overall in the Hornet Harrier and Commonwealth Challenge in Winchester, Va. He helped lead the team to place third with a personal time of 20:13 for the 6K event.

In addition to his recent accomplishment, May also placed fifth in his division during the James Madison University Open Cross Country Invitational. The race was eight kilometers long and May finished with a time of 27:28.

May and the team will be back in action at the Greensboro Hagan Stone Classic on Saturday, Oct. 7 in Greensboro, N.C.
