ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa.—The Southern Virginia University men's volleyball team defeated conference rival Elizabethtown 3-0 on Saturday morning giving the Knights their sixth straight win.
Game one was all Knights (9-1, 5-0 CVC) as they dominated the Blue Jays (4-8, 1-2 CVC) 25-10 hitting .429 and recording 15 kills on the game.
Elizabethtown was able to keep the games closer in the second and third, but the Knights were too much to handle as they completed the sweep of the Blue Jays 25-20 and 25-23 recording 30 total kills in the two games combined.
Paul Clark was the leading attacker for the Knights finishing with a game-high 15 kills on .500 percent hitting to go along with four service aces. Andrew Fonua also played a large role in Southern Virginia's success, dishing out 33 assists in the win.
Nick Baxter was the leading hitter for the Blue Jays finishing the game with 15 kills.
The Knights return home to continue CVC volleyball action as they'll play host to the Saints of Marymount University on the 20th of February at 7 p.m.
