Men's Tennis Falls to York (Pa.)

YORK, Pa.— The Southern Virginia University men's tennis team dropped its eight straight match of the spring season at York College (Pa.) Saturday afternoon, 8-1, in York, Pennsylvania. 

In singles play Dallin Evans earned the only point for the Knights by 6-1. 6-2 counts. York opponents trumped Brennan Alford, Cort Cox, Kjell Henness, Parker Monson and Tanner Heyland for five team points.

During doubles competition, Southern Virginia's Dallin Evans and Brennan Alford fell by an 8-2 score. Partners Kjell Henness and Cort Cox were defeated by an 8-2 count. Duo Parker Monson and Tanner Heyland lost by an 8-2 score.

The Knights will step out of conference play for a matchup against Shenandoah University. The match is scheduled for Tuesday at 3:30pm on Friday at noon in Winchester, Virginia.
