Men's Tennis Falls to Randolph

BUENA VISTA, Va.— Despite valiant efforts the Southern Virginia University men's tennis team fell to the visiting Randolph College WildCats, by a 9-0 score, Wednesday afternoon at The Tennis Courts in Buena Vista, Virginia.

No. 1 doubles partners Dallin Evans and Brennan Alford lost 8-2. Kjell Henness and Cort Cox were defeated by an 8-1 score while Parker Monson and Tanner Heyland were overcome by an 8-0 score. 

Brad Strober of Randolph defeated Dallin Evans by a 6-3, 6-1 score. Brennan Alford fell by a 6-1, 6-3 score. Kjell Henness and Cort Cox each lost by 6-0, 6-1 scores. Parker Monson and Tanner Heyland were each defeated by 6-0, 6-0 scores.

The Knights will step back into conference play as it hits the road for a match up against Salisbury University on Friday March 27. The matches are scheduled to start at 4 p.m. at The Tennis Center of the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
