Men's Tennis Swept by Christopher Newport University

BUENA VISTA, Va.— The Southern Virginia University men's tennis team dropped its second conference match of the season to Christopher Newport University, by a 9-0 score Saturday afternoon at The Tennis Courts in Buena Vista, Virginia. 

Despite a solid effort by Dallin Evans against the Captains' David Reed he fell, 6-3, 6-3. Brennan Alford, Kjell Henness, Cort Cox, Parker Monson and Tanner Heyland were each defeated by 6-0, 6-0 scores.

All Knights were scoreless in doubles play as the Captains swept each duo 8-0. Dallin Evans and Brennan Alford fell to CNU's Justin Cerny and David Reed. Kjell Henness and Cort Cox were defeate by CNU's Max Katcher and Arttu Fiva. CNU's Michael Dodd and Dillon Sykes overcame parker Monson and Tanner Heyland.

The Knights will step out of conference play as it hosts Randolph College on Wednesday March 25. The matches are scheduled to start at 4 p.m. at The Tennis Courts in Buena Vista, Virginia.
