Knights Fall on the Road

Frostburg, Md. — The Southern Virginia University Men's Soccer team (1-15, 0-5) suffered a tough road loss at the hands of Frostburg State (5-8, 2-2-1) on Wednesday afternoon.

The Knights put up a tough fight in the first half but fell down 2-0 heading into the break. In the second half, the Knights battled hard but things took a tough turn and they were ultimately taken down 8-0.

The Bobcats led the Knights in shots 39-6 and in corner kicks 5-2. Of the Knights shots, 3 were shots on goal. 2 of them were attempted by Seth Grieve and the other was taken by Ben Knapmeyer. SVU goalie, Jacob Solis, recorded 13 saves on the game.

The Men's Soccer team will return to action this Saturday as they return home to face off against Salisbury University. The game is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m at the Knight Stadium.
