Soccer Programs to Hold ID Camp in Utah

OGDEN, Utah—The Southern Virginia University men's and women's soccer programs will host an ID camp on Monday, June 2 and Tuesday, June 3 at Ellison Park in Ogden, Utah.

An identification (ID) camp is an opportunity for male and female high school athletes to showcase their abilities in front of college coaches. It is also an opportunity to train with other college-bound athletes and to learn about Southern Virginia University.

Scholar-athletes currently attending a four-year college are not eligible to attend the camp.

Training will be under the direction of Southern Virginia men's head soccer coach Joshua Patiño and women's head soccer coach Matt Grawrock.

The cost is $80.00 for each participant over the two-day event. Following an 8:30 a.m. registration on Monday, June 2, the camp will run from 9-11 a.m. and 4-6 p.m.  The event resumes Tuesday, June 3, with the same 9-11 a.m. and 4-6 p.m. format.

Registration can be found on the Soccer Camps page at svu.edu/camps/soccer-id. The camp is limited to the first 50 boys and 50 girls registered to participate.
