FERRUM, Va.—After two overtimes and 110 total minutes of play, the Southern Virginia University men's soccer match at Ferrum College Saturday evening ended in a scoreless draw.

Neither team was able to find the back of the net in the rainy conditions despite a combined 37 shots for the match. Ferrum (2-4-2) outshot Southern Virginia (3-3-2) 21-16, but the Knights held a slight advantage over the Panthers for shots-on-goal, 6-4.

Southern Virginia keeper Robert Key, who converted to goalie earlier this season, recorded his second career shutout as the junior from Flower Mound, Texas, turned away all four of Ferrum's potential scores.

Men's soccer has one day off before traveling to face undefeated Christendom on Monday, Sept. 26 at 5 p.m.
