Men's Soccer Suffers First Losing Streak Of Season

BUENA VISTA, Va. – The Southern Virginia University men's soccer team suffered consecutive losses for the first time this season Wednesday afternoon, falling to the visiting Washington and Lee University Generals, 2-0.

After a scoreless first half, the Generals netted two goals in the second period, scoring on their only two on goal attempts of the match.
The Knights, who were held scoreless in both loses this week, only managed five shots in the competition, two of which were on goal.
Men's soccer will play its third home game of the week on Friday, Oct. 8, against Chowan University. Friday's match has a 2 p.m. start time and will be played at The Fields.
