About the Knights

Southern Virginia enters its season finale after a 17-4 defeat at the hands of conference foe Christopher Newport. The Knights are in their second year as a provisional NCAA program, and in their first season as a member of the Capital Athletic Conference.

Freshman Nash Wilkey leads the Knights with sixteen goals on the season, while Mike Bangerter has added nine goals and Garrett Maw has seven goals. Goalkeeper Tyler Cox has compiled 169 saves during thirteen games in cage for the Knights this season, third best in the Capital Athletic Conference.

About the Bison

Bethany is led by first-year head coach Tim Priskey and defeated Southern Virginia 20-4 last season. The Bison are 4-11 overall and can secure their best record in program history with a win this Saturday.

Grant Delaney leads the Bison with 27 goals, while Travis Granich leads  Bethany with 17 assists. C.J. Studnicky has registered an astounding 226 saves during fifteen games in the cage.
