Day One Concludes at Tom Kinder Invitational

HARRISONBURG, Va. — At the end of day one, the Southern Virginia University men's golf team is currently in fifth place with a team score of +24.

"The team shot the lowest score in history," said Head Coach Blair Garner. "I am proud of the team and I am also excited to see the progress this year."

In his first collegiate match Nate Ouimette sets a school record shooting a bogey free round and is currently tied for the lead at -3. In addition to Ouimette, Cale Hansen also in his first season played a solid round scoring a +4 with Coulson Hardy finished the day +6.

The second day will follow similar to day one starting around 1:30 p.m. at the conclusion second day and final results will be released.
