FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – Southern Virginia senior Aarun Rumbaugh was today named to the All-CAC Men's Basketball Second Team, becoming the third player in the program's history to be named to an All-CAC team.

Rumbaugh posted career-high marks and led the Knights in almost every major statistical category, including points per game (13.1), rebounds per game (7.4), assists per game (3.8), and steals per game (1.6). His 3.8 assists per contest was third-best in the conference this year, and his 7.4 rebounds per game was good for fourth.

The forward had a number of excellent performances in 2017-18, including a 24-point game at Christopher Newport earlier this month, dishing out 12 assists at Frostburg State, and finishing with seven steals against St. Mary's (Md.). His 12-assist performance is tied for second for the most in program history, and his seven steals is tied for third.
