YORK, Pa.—The Southern Virginia men's basketball team suffered their worst loss of the season Saturday afternoon, with a 100-60 Capital Athletic Conference defeat at York College of Pennsylvania.
York (8-5, 3-3 CAC) scored 64 points in the first half, shooting 57.9% with 10 three-pointers. The Knights (2-11, 0-6 CAC) connected on 3-8 from downtown in the first 20 minutes, but had 16 of their 24 turnovers in the first half.
Aarun Rumbaugh, who got married over the holiday break, led the way with 13 points and six rebounds. Rashay Douglas, who averages 13.3 points per game, chipped in ten points with a pair of steals. Tyler McCreadie and Kellen Winslow added eight and seven points, respectively.
The Knights are still in search of the first conference win and will host Mary Washington on Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the Knight Sports Arena.
