27 Football Student-Athletes Earn ODAC All-Academic Team Recognition

FOREST, Va. — The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) today announced the 2019-20 All-Academic Team with 27 Southern Virginia University football student-athletes honored. 

The Knights' football team completed its inaugural season as the University's lone member of the ODAC recording the program's most wins since 2013 with a 4-6 overall record while going 2-6 in conference play.

Eligibility for the ODAC All-Academic Team is open to any student-athlete that competes in a conference-sponsored sport, regardless of academic class. Prospective honorees must achieve at least a 3.25-grade point average for the academic year to be considered for an ODAC All-Academic Team recognition.

An ODAC record of 2,646 student-athletes earned recognition, passing the previous year's record of 2,120.
