Card Named To NAIA All-Star Game Roster

GRAND ISLAND, Ne. Senior Center Tyler Card continues to make headlines for the Southern Virginia Football team as he has been named a member of the NAIA All-Star Game. Card becomes the fifth SVU player to be named to the game. It will also be the third consecutive year that SVU has had representation on the team. In 2008 RB Hayes Paige and WR McKay Dunn attended. 2009 saw OL Ben Burningham and DB Shea Owens suit up.

Coach DeLane Fitzgerald had this to say about Card's participation in the competition, "Tyler is the best offensive linemen I've had the pleasure to coach at Southern Virginia. He has worked very hard over the last three years to get himself to this point and I am ecstatic that he is going to finish his career playing against the best players across the nation."

The game is scheduled to take place April 24, in Salina, KS at Salina Stadium. For more information follow this link here.
