Shalisa Kimber enters her first season as an assistant dance coach.
Kimber brings a wealth of choreography and teaching experience to Southern Virginia.
Kimber graduated in the spring of 2017 from Brigham Young University with a degree in human development and a minor in contemporary dance. She participated in BYU's Hip Hop Club, and lead her team to be named BYU's Best Dance Crew. She also loved choreographing, collaborating, and performing with her peers.
From 2012-14, Coach Kimber served a full-time proselyting mission in Charlotte, North Carolina. Upon returning home, she choreographed and taught for various performing groups, including the Alpine and Highland Distinguished Young Women programs, Showcase USA Dance Studio, and the American Fork High School Drill Team.
Shalisa is excited to be back on the East coast with her husband, Dallin, who will be playing lacrosse and finishing a mathematics degree. They currently reside in Buena Vista, Va.
