Logan Mann has been the head baseball coach at Southern Virginia University since the 2010 season.

Mann will be leading the team into the third year of Capital Athletic Conference play.

In his first year as head coach, Mann led baseball to the program’s first .500 season (21-21) as the Knights returned to the USCAA Small College World Series for the first time since 2005.

The next season, Mann coached the Knights to a program-best 30-10 record capped by a second-place finish at the 2011 USCAA Small College World Series.

The 2011 Knights also set several offensive and defensive program records under Mann, including highest team batting average (.337), highest team slugging percentage (.509), most hits (415), most runs scored (311), most runs batted in (281), highest fielding percentage (.954) and lowest earned run average (3.60).

In 2012 and 2013, Mann led Southern Virginia to back-to-back 18-win seasons. In his four seasons at the helm, Mann has taken the Knights to four straight USCAA Small College World Series berths and .500-plus seasons—both program records.

Prior to coaching, Mann was a three-year starter on Southern Virginia’s baseball team as infielder and pitcher from 2007-2009.

Mann served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and earned his bachelor’s degree from Southern Virginia University in business management and Spanish. Mann is currently working on a master's degree in Sports Management and Administration.

He resides in Buena Vista with his wife and three kids.
