Southern Virginia University (1-7) vs. Washington College (2-4)
About the Knights
After a flurry of postponed games, Southern Virginia hopes to step up to the plate as it faces NCAA DIII Centennial Conference member Washington College for the first time. The Knights' last contest was a sweep at Hampden-Sydney on March 1. The Knights have been battling the weather to get out on a playable field since that time.
Junior C.J. Andrus leads the Knights with seven hits in 27 at-bats for a .259 batting average. Hunter Allen and senior Tyler King both have a .375 on-base percentage and will look to continue their contributions for this game.
Southern Virginia will need to execute at the plate and have a solid defense to get the victory.
