BUENA VISTA, Va.—The Southern Virginia University baseball team is hosting its 2012 Prospects Camp for local youth ages 14 and up on January 21 from noon to 6 p.m. EDT in the Knight Sports Arena.
Southern Virginia's prospects camp will feature two sessions: Session One—noon to 3 p.m.—focuses on hitting and positional defense, while Session Two—3 p.m. to 6 p.m.—is tailored specifically to pitching instruction.
The camp will be staffed by Southern Virginia's baseball coaching staff—third-year Head Coach Logan Mann, first-year Assistant Coach Dave Ramsey and first-year Assistant Coach Grant Woods—as wells as 10-year MLB veteran pitcher Reggie Harris and elite travel team coach and owner of The Yard Baseball and Softball Training Facility Ricky Gregg.
