Baseball's Opening Round Game Suspended in Extra Innings Due to Rain

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine—The Southern Virginia University baseball team's opening round game at the USCAA Small College World Series against Rochester College on May 14 was suspended due to rain in the top of the tenth inning with the score tied at three runs apiece.

Southern Virginia will resume play with Rochester in the top of the tenth inning on Monday, May 16 at 8:30 a.m. EDT. The winner advances to play Penn State-Greater Allegenhy at 9:30 a.m. while the looser will play Spalding University at noon.
