What made you interested in basketball?
"I started playing when I was in second grade around seven or eight years old. I have always been tall for my age and basketball is a sport I have enjoyed playing."
What/who inspires you?
"Overall one of the big reasons is my dad he never received a chance to play. It's fun to play knowing my dad worked hard for me to have the opportunity. I am inspired by my team each day at practice."
What brought you to Southern Virginia?
"The former head coach Tony Caputo reached out to me. I thought about it while serving on my mission. I decided on Southern Virginia because they are a great fit for me and the fact that I can continue to play basketball."
What have you enjoyed about this season?
"In regards to our team, I have enjoyed seeing our new or young teammates perform well. On a personal side, I have had some dunks this season that I made myself proud."
What are your future plans after graduation?
"After graduating with a degree in biochemistry I plan on having a gap year where I can decide my next plan for my career. I want to pursue a career in dentistry or orthodontic care and raise a family."
